What is Bird Nird?
Bird Nird is a South African brand making clothing, leather goods and gifts for birders. We are the sister brand to Jackalberry.
How much is delivery in South Africa?
Delivery is a flat rate of R95 to anywhere in South Africa, in all nine provinces.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to selected countries outside South Africa. The shipping cost for your country is shown at checkout. If your country is not listed, contact us and we will see what we can do.
How can I pay?
You can pay by EFT (bank transfer) or with Payflex, which lets you split your purchase into four interest-free instalments. EFT orders are processed once payment reflects in our account.
Can I get my lifer milestone number embroidered on a cap?
Yes. On the Bird Nird Cap, choose “add a milestone number”, then type your number in the order notes at checkout. We will embroider it onto the side of your cap.
Can you make a binocular cover or field guide cover to fit my kit?
Yes. Our standard leather binocular cover is 20cm high, 17cm wide and 8cm deep, and we can make it to other sizes. For the leather field guide cover, send us your book’s height, width and spine thickness after ordering.
What sizes does your clothing come in?
Our T-shirts, golf shirts, outback shirts and hoodies come in sizes S to XXL. T-shirts come in five colours, and most shirts let you choose between the full Bird Nird logo and the “B” logo.
What is a good gift for a birder?
